Local Team Collaboration:
We are one team that works across two hospitals: Providence Sacred Hear & Providence Holy Family. Sacred Heart Medical Center is a 628-bed level II trauma center, teaching hospital, and tertiary referral center. We have a 26-bed med/surg ICU and a 28-bed CVICU with MCS, ECMO, and LVAD. Holy Family Hospital is a 156-bed community hospital with a 13-bed ICU. Roughly 80% of the time at Sacred Heart & 20% at Holy Family. Roughly half of the time at Sacred Heart will be spent working in the CVICU. Internal Medicine Residency program.
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO). A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting. Experience managing complex cardiac critical care patients. Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
Block schedule with roughly 1/3 night shifts. We collaborate to manage the schedule as equitably as possible, ensuring intensivists achieve an outstanding work/family life balance. 12-14 shifts per month is full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
We care for medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiac ICU patients. We see diverse cases and high acuity, an ideal environment for those looking to care for all types of critically ill patients. We are particularly seeking someone who has a strong background in CVICU. Supervise residents.

Rewards and Compensation:
