Job Description

A premier physician-owned, multi-specialty surgical hospital and clinic in Altoona, Wisconsin, is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated surgeon looking to build a thriving hand surgery practice with opportunities for ownership, profit sharing, and long-term professional growth. We offer a flexible practice model, including employment through the hospital or group practice—or work as an independent contractor, based on your preferences and goals.
Position Highlights:
Guaranteed Base Salary in year one based on MGMA data Highly competitive wRVU-based bonus structure Sign-on bonus and relocation stipend Profit-sharing opportunity through ownership in the surgical hospital and clinic Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans Generous paid time off and CME allowance
Practice Setting:

Requirements:
MD or DO from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training in Hand Surgery Eligible for a Wisconsin medical license Strong clinical and surgical skills with a patient-first approach Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, multi-specialty environment About Altoona, WI Located just outside Eau Claire, Altoona offers small-town charm with access to the amenities of a vibrant university city.
