As a Psychiatry Provider at Sagent Behavioral Health, formerly known as (Nystrom & Associates, Ltd.), you will be an important part of a vibrant and dynamic outpatient mental health provider making important contributions to the mental health of our local communities. You will focus on diagnosing, treating, and preventing mental illnesses and emotional disorders. You will evaluate patients' mental and physical well-being, create personalized treatment plans, and prescribe medication as needed. This role plays a crucial part in supporting patients' needs and promoting improved mental health outcomes. Specifically for this role, an ideal candidate would have an interest in supporting the adult population.

CEUs Responsibilities :
Provide psychiatric diagnostic assessments, evaluates need for medications, and prescribe as indicated. Makes urgent assessments of person in crisis, evaluating as appropriate. Collaborate with others involved in treatment planning. Document all patient interactions, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and medication changes in compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards. Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and consultations. Ensure a patient-centered approach by fostering a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment.
Requirements :
Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies. Active and unrestricted license in the State of Minnesota. 2+ years post-grad experience working as a PA-C in the following areas: psychiatry, family medicine, and/or internal medicine, required Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychiatric Nursing from an accredited college or university; active and unrestricted State of Wisconsin License to practice medicine. Must meet Mental Health Professional Qualifications in the State of WI. Must have a mental health certification (PMHNP) recognized by the board of nursing. Minimum 1-2+ years' experience practicing as an APNP is required. Knowledge of regulatory standards governing care delivery and operations. Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Office products and experience with Electronic Health Records.
Compensation :
This is an exempt position. Total earnings for this position will range from $120,000 - $176,000 annually. Employees in these positions are W2. Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as education, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location.
