Job Description
The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Otolaryngology & Communication Sciences is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to provide medical care services within an outpatient setting. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as part of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching.
Position Highlights:
Opportunity to work alongside four physicians specializing in rhinology, anterior skull base surgery, and allergy within a highly collaborative academic practice environment. The Division features three advanced Rhinology practice areas including: High-volume inflammatory sinusitis patient population, collaborative anterior skull base surgery program alongside Neurosurgery, and an expanding otolaryngic allergy practice. Exposure to a diverse and complex ENT/Otolaryngology patient population across both academic and community clinical settings. Preference for candidates with prior ENT/Otolaryngology experience or clinical background. Collaborative and collegial department culture with a strong emphasis on mentorship, teamwork, and professional support. Opportunity to work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary clinical teams. Clinical responsibilities will support subspecialty-focused patient care within Rhinology and related ENT services.Schedule:
Monday-Friday. Day Shift. No call, weekends, or nights.Department/Division Highlights:
The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Sciences is the largest otolaryngology group in the State of Wisconsin and includes nationally and internationally recognized fellowship-trained specialists across all areas of ENT care. Comprehensive clinical programs provide care for both adult and pediatric patients with both common and highly complex diseases of the ear, nose, and throat. The department offers extensive subspecialty expertise including rhinology, skull base surgery, head and neck oncology, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, laryngology, otology/neuro-otology, and allergy services. Faculty practice across multiple premier clinical sites including Froedtert Hospital, Children's Wisconsin, the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, and community-based clinics throughout the region. The department maintains a strong commitment to academic medicine through its nationally recognized residency and fellowship programs, offering opportunities for education, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Research initiatives within the department support innovation and discovery across clinical and translational otolaryngology with dedicated research infrastructure and externally funded programs.
