SSM Health in Wisconsin is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Addiction Medicine Physician to lead the development of a new Addiction Medicine program . This unique opportunity is ideal for a physician who is excited to create, shape, and grow a comprehensive addiction treatment program while partnering with an integrated health system committed to improving community health.
Opportunity Highlights:
Lead the development of a new Addiction Medicine program Create and implement clinical workflows, treatment models, and program strategy Build relationships with primary care, behavioral health, inpatient, and community partners Help expand access to evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders Opportunity to recruit and mentor future program team members Strong health system support with resources to establish a sustainable and impactful service line Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package Location will be in the Madison, Wisconsin area
The Ideal Candidate:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine Visionary leader with a passion for innovation and program development Collaborative physician dedicated to improving outcomes for patients struggling with addiction Motivated to build a program that will serve as a long-term community resource Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program Fellowship training preferred but not required In lieu of fellowship, demonstrated experience working exclusively with this patient population is required Willing to see patients remotely if needed Make a difference every day by helping patients achieve lasting recovery while providing comprehensive primary care.
