- Faculty (Open Rank) Medical College of Wisconsin life insurance, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, 403(b) United States, Wisconsin, Berlin 4855 S Moorland Rd (Show on map) Apr 10, 2026 The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences is seeking an academically oriented board certified/eligible Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our expanding team.
Position Highlights:
Open-rank, full-time faculty position. Available in either the traditional track or clinician-educator track. Seeking candidates with strong clinical and surgical expertise. Requires well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. Ideal candidate demonstrates enthusiasm, professionalism, and collaborative spirit. Commitment to advancing MCW's academic missions in clinical care, education, and scholarly activity. The position's clinical activity is primarily undertaken at the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute with possibly one or two half-days per week at satellite clinics. Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.Schedule:
Full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Provide coverage during core business hours with some flexibility required, as necessary, to accommodate business needs.Department/Division Highlights:

Physicians and scientists integrate cutting-edge research with clinical expertise to advance the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of vision-threatening diseases, supported by the National Eye Institute (NIH) and Research to Prevent Blindness, Inc. Commitment toEducation:
Faculty actively teach across medical, graduate, and postdoctoral programs, offering a four-year ophthalmology residency and fellowships in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery, orbital and oculoplastic surgery, and pediatric ophthalmology.Continuing Medical Education:
