Position Overview Allegiance Medical Group is seeking a licensed Psychologist or Psychiatrist to serve as an Independent Contractor Medical Examiner performing Compensation & Pension (C&P) psychological disability evaluations and occupational health examinations. This role focuses on conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, completing detailed medical documentation, and delivering high-quality reports that support federal disability and occupational health determinations. Requirements:

Required Qualifications Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited institution Active and unrestricted license to practice psychology or psychiatry Ability to perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments Excellent written documentation and communication skills Comfortable working independently in a structured clinical environment Ability to manage multiple case assignments while maintaining high attention to detail Proficiency with secure EMR systems and HIPAA-compliant documentation practices Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative teams Preferred Qualifications Board certification preferred Previous experience conducting Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations or federal disability evaluations Experience with occupational health evaluations and federal agency standards Familiarity with VA disability examination protocols and reporting requirements Timeliness & Quality Standards Ensure all reports and documentation are submitted within required turnaround times Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and completeness in all evaluations and reports Adhere to all federal guidelines, examination protocols, and ethical standards Deliver objective, professional documentation that supports disability and occupational determinations Ideal Candidate Compassionate and patient-focused Independent and dependable Detail-oriented and efficient Professional and adaptable Comfortable with structured examination protocols Passionate about serving Veterans, service members, and federal personnel
