Job Description
Experienced General Surgeon Hospital-employed or independent practice Team includes 1 full-time surgeon and 1 contracted surgeon 1 clinical support staff until volume dictates more Estimated mature volume is 5,500-6,000 wRVUs per year Access to 3 PCPs, 1 general surgeon, 1 OB, 1 part-time ENT, 1 part-time internal medicine physician, and 1 part-time general surgeon Board certification in General Surgery required Wyoming medical license and DEA with full prescriptive authority required Not open to new or future graduates MGMA 50th-75th percentile compensation with wRVU production incentive $5,000 CME allowance $30,000 sign-on bonus 25+ days PTO $10,000+ relocation allowance Student loan repayment assistance Health benefits and 401(k) retirement plan Medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage Residency stipend 133 total beds across 2 facilities Population served is over 40,000 in Fremont County, Wyoming Nearby recreation includes the Wind River Mountains, Sinks Canyon, hiking, fishing, rock climbing, and campingdoccafe+1 Casper is about 154 miles away and Jackson is about 174 miles away
