Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in primary care, acute pain management, pathology, and possess the ability to perform procedures such as phlebotomy and minor surgeries. Experience with ModMed or similar EMR systems is preferred.Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat foot and ankle conditions
- Perform surgical procedures to correct deformities or treat injuries
- Provide acute pain management for foot-related issues
- Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups
- Maintain detailed patient records
- Stay current with advancements in podiatric medicine through research
Requirements:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school of podiatry
- Board certification in Podiatry
- Proficiency in operating rooms, ICU, and airway management
- Experience in urology and pathology related to the lower extremities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients
