Job Description
Our client in Illinois is seeking an experienced Wound Care Physician for a 160-day assignment commencing Oct 26, 2026. This vital role involves covering the Monday through Friday outpatient Wound Center, where you will provide comprehensive wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy oversight. Join a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a supportive environment. Responsibilities and Duties Assess and prescribe standard wound care treatments, compression therapy, and wound vacs. Oversee hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) treatments. Perform debridements, casts, and advanced tissue applications. Conduct incision and drainage (I&D), callous paring, and chemical cautery. Optionally perform punch biopsies.
