CCHC Podiatry Monday-Friday, Full-time Company Overview Coastal Carolina Health Care, P.A. is a multi-specialty group practice dedicated to promoting the health of our patients through high-quality, compassionate, and personalized healthcare services. Established in 1998 with roots dating back to 1962, we strive to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our community. Responsibilities Coordinate patient referrals and authorizations Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their referral status and next steps. Occasional front desk duties when needed Backup coverage for Medical Assistants Qualifications Proven experience in a medical office setting, preferably as a referral coordinator or similar role. Strong knowledge of managed care principles and insurance verification processes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Proficient in medical terminology and record management. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
