Nurse Position Description:

The back office staff escorts patients into treatment rooms and performs the medical intake assessment. They provide patient care, doctor assistance, assure facility cleanliness, maintain inventory and update patient charts.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain patient flow into treatment rooms Prepare patients to be seen by the doctor Take X-Rays and prepare medical instruments Clean treatment rooms between patients Inventory supplies and maintain equipment Maintain a high level of patient service Update patient charts Maintain patient confidentiality and security according to HIPAA guidelines Schedule follow-up appointments and collect patient payments

Experience & Skills:

Medical Assistant / RN certification and podiatry experience strongly preferred X-ray operations (and/or willingness to learn) Electronic Medical Records Excellent communication skills; verbal and written Professionalism in interpersonal interactions and personal presentation/appearance Bilingual, preferred
