School Psychologists-Matsu Borough School District Alaska's 2nd largest school district is looking to hire School Psychologists for the upcoming school year! We are located 45 minutes outside of Anchorage, AK. We have 18,000+ students across 49 schools.

Our communities include:

Glacier View, Sutton, Palmer, Wasilla, Butte, Knik-Fairview, Meadow Lakes, Big Lake, Houston, Willow, Talkeetna and Trapper Creek. Our Mission is to prepare all students for success.

Position Description:

To provide therapeutic services to students for them to benefit from Special Education Services or for them to progress adequately in the general education curriculum. To promote positive public relations and meet compliance standards advocated through the Student Support Services Department.

Salary:

$63,875 - $88,646 starting wage, depending on verification of service and education. MSBSD has a competitive Salary Schedule with an accelerated step advancement. Applicants can bring a maximum of 6 years' experience. We pay an additional $3,000 bonus

PER YEAR

for

NASP/APA

certification.

Leave:

Each Related Service Provider receives 4 paid personal leave days at the beginning of the year and accrues 1.33 sick leave days each month of employment.

Retirement:

MSBSD is a member of the State of Alaska Teachers Retirement System.
