Key Candidate Qualifications:
Valid ALSDE certification for psychometry Experience or training in school-based psychological assessment Strong communication skills for collaborative IEP meetings Ability to travel between multiple schools within the district
Core Responsibilities:
Administer formal psychological evaluations to students in various schools Analyze and interpret assessment results for Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams Document findings comprehensively and deliver presentations at special education meetings Consult with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
