Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic and rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students across four schools near Madison, AL. We're seeking two skilled School Psychometrists or School Psychologists who thrive in collaborative environments and are dedicated to helping every learner reach their full potential. In this role, you'll be integral to the educational journey of students, providing expertise in assessments and participating actively in meetings that guide individualized plans. Each day brings fresh experiences as you work alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to identify needs and develop strategies to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
Primary Qualifications:
Certification or licensure as a School Psychometrist or School Psychologist Experience working with K-12 student populations, preferably in a school setting Skilled in conducting evaluations, analyzing data, and interpreting assessment results Strong communication skills for meaningful engagement with staff, students, and parents Flexible approach—ready to shift priorities and manage tasks across several schools Collaborative mindset, comfortable working in meetings and team discussions
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and interpret standardized assessments tailored to a diverse K-12 student body Participate in meetings (IEPs, MDTs, and staff consultations) to discuss findings and recommendations Provide insight on interventions and student support plans Travel between four schools as needed, flexibly responding to assessment requirements Document observations and findings clearly, maintaining thorough and accurate records Collaborate actively with educators, counselors, and support staff This contract offers a unique chance to broaden your skills and make a meaningful impact across multiple campuses.
