A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential support within school settings across Montgomery, AL. This role involves travel between schools, offering diverse experiences and the chance to make meaningful impacts in various educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student success Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to address student challenges and recommend interventions Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote positive student outcomes
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working within K-12 educational settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain confidentiality Willingness and flexibility to travel between various school locations This travel-focused position allows for professional growth and the ability to contribute broadly to student well-being across multiple schools.
