Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting student growth and success as a School Psychometrist. You'll collaborate closely with educational teams to deliver comprehensive testing and assessment services for K-12 students across four schools. With an emphasis on flexibility, this contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic, school-based environment near Owens Cross Roads, AL.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
School Psychometrist or School Psychologist credentials required Experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for students ages K-12 Strong report-writing and data interpretation abilities Confidence in leading and contributing to student-focused meetings (IEPs, intervention teams, etc.) Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, teachers, and school personnel Ability to manage a flexible workload across multiple campuses
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns Attend and participate in team meetings regarding student evaluations, eligibility, and support needs Interpret assessment data to recommend appropriate accommodations, services, and interventions Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment results and progress Serve as a resource to educators and parents regarding student development, special education processes, and best practices Travel between four assigned schools as needed; no set caseload assigned at this time, offering flexibility and variety in your daily work Why consider this contract role?
