MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctorate degree in Psychology and (36 months or more) clinical experience in psychological treatment and assessment.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Possession of licensure as a psychologist as issued by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Psychology.
KIND OF WORK
- Prescribe, provide, and supervise direct care services for adult patients.
- Provide group and individual therapy and crisis management programs.
- Conduct initial psychological assessments, psychological assessment updates, psychological testing, forensic evaluations, Hospital Review Board evaluations, violence risk assessments, and suicide risk assessments.
- Participate in treatment planning for adult patients including participation in treatment team review meetings, individual treatment planning conferences, and other team meetings.
- Supervise non-doctoral psychology staff members, students, and interns as assigned.
- Asses, interpret, and monitor data related to provision of services.
- Provide leadership as a member of the Clinical Management Team.
- Obtain/maintain state licensure as a psychologist, certification as a forensic examiner, and obtain/maintain membership on the Bryce Hospital medical staff.
- Ensure compliance with hospital standards.
