Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on an impactful contract opportunity as a school psychologist, working full-time in a high school setting near Gilbert, AZ. This in-person position is perfect for professionals passionate about supporting students' emotional, academic, and behavioral development. You'll join a collaborative school community and play a vital role in creating a positive educational environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Valid state credential/license for school psychologists Prior experience in a school environment strongly preferred Expertise in psychological assessment, counseling, and behavior intervention Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to work on-site, 37.5 hours per week; remote or hybrid work is not available
What You'll Be Doing:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments Participate in the development of IEPs and attend meetings as needed Provide individual and group counseling to students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success Deliver crisis intervention and support as necessary Help design and implement strategies for academic and behavioral intervention Maintain accurate documentation while managing a caseload (to be determined) As you invest in students' well-being and achievement, you'll benefit from the structure and routine of a school calendar, with opportunities to collaborate alongside dedicated professionals.
