Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student mental health and learning needs in the Glendale, AZ area. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in school psychology, offering a dynamic environment to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and emotional success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district policies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments in a K-12 setting Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize responsibilities effectively
