Seeking a Psychologist in our Behavioral Health Outpatient Facility. Specializing in Dual Diagnosis, Alcohol and or Substance Abuse. The individual must be willing to work with individuals having a wide variety of mental health symptoms and behaviors.

Psychologist teaching a group class would typically be leading a session where a group of individuals gather to learn about psychological concepts, often with a focus on interactive activities, discussion, and personal reflection, allowing students to apply the information to their own lives while also gaining insight from the experiences of others in the group; essentially, it's a classroom setting where the instructor utilizes group dynamics to enhance learning and understanding of psychological topics. This goal is achieved by facilitating a smooth and efficient continuity of care for patients, helping the patient maximize their treatment. They must be computer literate, proficient in MS Office including Word, Outlook and Excel. Strong communication skills in the form of both written and verbal.

Key aspects of a psychologist teaching a group class: Topic focus: The class could cover a wide range of psychological subjects like stress management, communication skills, social psychology, personality disorders, or coping mechanisms depending on the course goals.

Activities like role-playing, group exercises, and self-assessments are often incorporated to provide practical application of psychological principles.
