Temporary Apply For This Job Psychologist (Travel) | Arizona Position Overview Travel psychologist role serving patients in rural and remote settings across Arizona. Provide psychological assessments, evaluations, and treatment for patients with personality, emotional adjustment, or mental health concerns. Mix of individual and group therapy, testing, interpretation, documentation, and care team collaboration.
Typical volume:
6 to 8 patients per day. Schedule Two weeks or more per month Monday through Friday, 8:00a to 4:30p (30 minute break) On site, full travel throughout Arizona (documented focus in Northern Arizona) Required Qualifications PhD or PsyD from an APA accredited program (at time of graduation) Active Arizona psychologist license Clear background, license, and malpractice history required Strong computer skills Must have a personal laptop for access to applications and work product Must meet requirements to drive a rental car or personal vehicle Preferred Recent relevant experience treating veterans Core Responsibilities Provide assessments, evaluations, counseling, and psychotherapy interventions. Administer and interpret psychological tests used to diagnose mental and personality disorders. Develop testing and information gathering tools when needed (rating scales, questionnaires, and related tools). Support the patient care team with sound, valid recommendations, reports, and services.
