Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding part-time opportunity perfectly suited for skilled School Psychologists seeking meaningful work in an elementary setting near Scottsdale, AZ. This contract role offers a unique chance to support PreK-8th grade students while collaborating with dedicated multidisciplinary teams. With a predictable schedule and a clearly defined caseload, you'll play a critical part in fostering student success from July 27, 2026, to May 20, 2027.
What You'll Bring:
Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience working with PreK-8th grade students preferred In-depth understanding of educational assessments and psychological testing Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams Proficiency in evaluating students for special education services
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in multidisciplinary teams for referral, evaluation, IEP development, and placements in special education Administer, score, and interpret individual psychological and educational evaluations for referred elementary students Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure optimal student outcomes Contribute valuable insight to the design and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate and confidential student records, reports, and documentation throughout the contract period
