Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take your expertise as a School Psychologist to a supportive and dynamic educational environment near Scottsdale, AZ! This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic, social, and emotional success. You'll have the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and families while providing specialized support within the school setting. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field required Valid state-issued certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience working in educational settings preferred Strong knowledge of evaluation, assessment tools, and behavioral interventions Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to support diverse student populations and adapt to varied learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility determination Develop and contribute to the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide counseling, consultation, and intervention services to students and families Support teachers and staff through data-driven strategies, interventions, and professional development Facilitate crisis prevention and response as needed Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to all relevant laws and guidelines
