Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student well-being and academic success in Scottsdale, AZ. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic school environment by providing critical psychological services that address students' social, emotional, and learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student mental health and behavioral concerns. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to guide academic accommodations and behavioral support. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and legal guidelines. Implement crisis intervention and prevention programs as needed.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid state certification or licensure for school psychology. Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments and using data to inform interventions. Strong knowledge of federal and state laws regarding special education services. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff. Ability to contribute positively in a fast-paced, collaborative school setting.
