Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a certified School Psychologist to join our team in an elementary school setting (pre-k-8) on a full-time, in-person basis. You will collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create safe, supportive learning environments that foster student success and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs, including cognitive testing and behavioral observations. Develop METs As needed, provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on social skills, emotional regulation, behavior management, and crisis intervention. Participate in the crisis management team. Maintain accurate medical documentation, records of psychological testing, progress notes, and case management reports in compliance with school policies and legal standards. Skills Extensive experience working with children in educational settings, especially within elementary schools. Proficiency in psychological testing, behavioral health interventions, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and accommodations for students with disabilities such as autism or developmental delays. Skilled in crisis intervention, conflict management, and creating safety plans to address urgent student needs. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Pay:
$91,000.00 - $94,000.00 per year
License/Certification:
Certified School Psychologist (Preferred)
