School Psych | Yuma, Arizona Yuma, AZ Job Details Full-time | Contract 21 hours ago Qualifications School experience School psychology Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time opportunity for a School Psychologist is based in Yuma, Arizona, supporting students from PreK through 8th grade. The role is contracted from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a 40-hour workweek. Candidates should expect an onsite position, with a caseload to be determined, offering a valuable chance to impact student development and well-being in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Arizona Educator Certification in School Psychology Ability to obtain or possess an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Experience working with PreK-8th grade students preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills Effective communication and collaboration with educators, families, and students Willingness to fulfill full-time onsite responsibilities
Location:
Yuma, AZ Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments for students to identify learning and behavioral needs Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies and support plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student success Provide counseling and crisis intervention as required Maintain detailed records, reports, and compliance with state and district regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support initiatives
