Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 9th grade as a School Psychologist on a part-time, contract basis. Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification and state licensure required Completion of a graduate program in School Psychology or Educational Psychology Previous experience working with TK-9th grade students highly preferred Strong understanding of special education law and effective behavioral interventions Compassionate communicator, able to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families Skilled in conducting assessments and implementing evidence-based strategies
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychoeducational assessments, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans Offer short-term counseling and crisis intervention to support students' mental health needs Consult on behavior management plans and positive behavioral supports within a multi-tiered framework Facilitate professional development workshops for staff related to student mental health and learning challenges Maintain detailed records and adhere to all legal and ethical standards This part-time (.5 FTE) position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in an educational setting with a diverse age range, enhancing your skills while making a real difference in students' lives.
