Description:
UCSF Fresno and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), dba Inspire Health, seek an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join the Department of Family Medicine as core faculty in our ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program. This is a 50% clinical / 50% clinician-educator position. Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient psychotherapy in a private practice setting, as well as supervision and support of integrated behavioral health services within an FQHC serving Family Medicine residency patients. Educational responsibilities include leadership and oversight of Behavioral Medicine training for residents, including direct observation, video review, structured feedback, and skills-based teaching within clinical encounters. The role emphasizes experiential learning, integration of behavioral health into primary care, and development of resident competency in communication and behavioral medicine. The position is based in Fresno, California, offering a high quality of life with convenient access to the Sierra Nevada mountains, Central Coast, and three nearby national parks, including Yosemite.
Requirements:
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD), be licensed (or license-eligible) in California, and qualify for appointment in the UCSF Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series. Experience in integrated primary care and graduate medical education is preferred.
Salary:
$120,000-$180,000. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation may be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors. Actual compensation may also vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, and/or productivity.
