Clinical Research Rater / Independent Rater Zillan Clinical Research Long Beach, CA Job Details Part-time | Contract $30 - $70 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Nursing Clinical psychological interviews Post-session clinical documentation Psychiatry Behavioral psychological assessments RN License Interviewing clients Individual psychological assessments ICH guidelines Professional clinical test scoring Doctor of Philosophy Psychology Implementing research protocols Clinical quality assurance standards Full Job Description Clinical Research Rater / Independent Rater We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Rater to administer and score complex psychiatric and safety rating scales for mental health and CNS clinical trials. This role is critical to ensuring subject safety, data integrity, and regulatory-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Administer and score protocol-specific clinician-rated psychiatric and safety assessments Maintain objectivity, consistency, and inter-rater reliability Identify and immediately escalate suicidality or safety concerns to the PI Complete accurate source documentation and EDC entry Maintain required rater certifications Qualifications Degree in Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Behavioral Science, or related field Prior experience administering clinician-rated psychiatric scales Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical research protocols Excellent interviewing, documentation, and clinical judgment skills Licensed clinician (RN, NP, PA, LCSW, PsyD, PhD) Experience as a blinded or independent rater CNS, psychiatry, or vaccine trial experience Competitive pay based on experience and industry standards.
