Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a genuine difference in the lives of students by providing vital psychological services in a supportive school environment. A contract opportunity is available for an experienced school psychologist to collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their full academic and personal potential.
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with psycho-educational assessments, behavioral interventions, and special education processes Strong understanding of federal and state laws regarding special education Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' learning and behavioral needs Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support student learning and emotional well-being Assist in the development of positive behavioral interventions and support strategies Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with all relevant laws and policies
