We specialize in the treatment of adolescents and young adults with a range of mental health issues. Our comprehensive services include individual & family therapy, psychiatry as well as psychological and neuropsychological evaluations. Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Clinical Therapist (AMFT, ASW, APCC, or Associate Psychologist) to join our dynamic team. As a therapist at OpenMinds, you will specialize in providing individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents and young adults, employing a client-centered and outcomes-driven approach. Bilingual is required. Your responsibilities will include conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team and receive supervision from a licensed psychologist.

Essential Functions Include:

Providing evidence-based individual therapy to address various mental health concerns among adolescents and young adults. Conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine client needs. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments. Collaborating with families, caregivers, and relevant providers to support overall client well-being. Participating in agency meetings, training sessions, consultations, and supervision meetings. Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards. Accurately inputting relevant CPT codes for insurance billing. Contributing to the development and enhancement of therapeutic programs and interventions. Staying updated with best practices and advancements in the mental health field.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Doctoral or Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field. Registration with the Board of Psychology (BOP) or Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), depending on licensure/degree. Billingual is required Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Experience in individual therapy with adolescents and young adults (experience with group and family therapy is a plus). Bilingual and bicultural skills are required Experience with LGBTQ+ populations is a plus Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic.
