Healthcare Professionals accepted) Psychologist/Psychometrist - A Federally Qualified Community Health Center that has always focused on providing high-quality, sustainable services that treat the whole person is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D.- Psy.

D.) to join the behavioral healthcare team. Under the general direction and guidance of the Medical Director, the Psychologist is responsible for counseling individuals, couples, families and groups. Work closely with primary care providers to assess patient needs and develop appropriate support and|or interventions. Behavioral services include individual therapy, behavioral health education, support groups, information on other community resources and linkages to other resources. Provides on-call services, including warm-handoffs, consultation, and brief screenings. Provides case management support as necessary to ensure that client's medical, mental health and social service needs are being addressed and met. Provides behavioral health consultation to primary care providers, family medicine residents and medical support staff. Works with medical staff to manage crisis situations. Assists Mental Health Manager in the development and delivery of trainings on behavioral health topics for medical and support staff. Provides clinical supervision to Psychological Assistants and other staff as directed by the Mental Health Manager. Maintains ethical standards of Social Work or Psychology profession. Attends relevant agency meetings. Participates in ongoing training.
Education and Experience:
Ph.D., Psy.

D. or equivalent in Clinical Psychology with a valid, unrestricted California license. A minimum of three years post-license experience is preferred. Experience working with individual, couple and family therapy modalities. Experience working in a primary care medical facility. Bilingual.
