Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A school district near Placerville, California is seeking a dedicated and collaborative full-time School Psychologist to support students' academic, behavioral, emotional, and social development across K-12 school sites. This position will play a key part in fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students. Open to local or travel candidates, Placerville, located in the Sierra foothills, offers a close-knit school community with access to outdoor recreation and a strong emphasis on student-centered education. Candidates must have a valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology as well as a Master's, Education Specialist (Ed.
S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret evaluation data Participate in eligibility determination for special education services Develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide counseling services to students individually and in groups Support crisis intervention and behavioral consultation Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families Contribute to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and PBIS initiatives Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student well-being Soliant offers a variety of competitive benefits including: competitive hourly and weekly pay (based on experience), comprehensive health insurance, company matching 401(k) retirement plans, flexible scheduling and workload options, mileage reimbursement (if applicable), educator licensing assistance, credentialing reimbursement, tax-free travel stipends, and the opportunity for contract renewal or extension based on performance and district needs.
