Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to work within a school district in Santa Ana, California, for the 2023-2024 school year. This role focuses on supporting students in an elementary school setting, providing comprehensive psychological services to help promote their academic and social success.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments and evaluations using tools such as WISC, WJ, and RIAS Monitoring student progress and behavior through observations Collaborating closely with certified staff, parents, and other professionals Implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans Managing an itinerant caseload across multiple elementary schools (grades K-5) Qualifications and experience: Master's degree in School Psychology Active California certification as a School Psychologist with PPS credential Comfort working on-site within school environments Open to new graduates and out-of-state applicants committed to obtaining California credential This contract role offers the opportunity to work approximately 35-40 hours per week and engage with diverse student populations within the district.
