Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in a TK-8 environment as a dedicated school psychologist. This contract position runs from August 2026 through the end of September 2026, covering a medical leave with the potential to extend further. Your workday will follow a convenient 7:30am to 4pm schedule, allowing you to focus your expertise where it matters most—helping young learners thrive.
Key Qualifications:
Valid credential/license for school psychology (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working with TK-8th grade students Strong knowledge of counseling and intervention strategies Skilled in administering assessments, report writing, and contributing to IEP teams Bilingual abilities are a plus, though not required—diverse candidates encouraged Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; adaptable to changing needs
Main Responsibilities:
Provide counseling services to a caseload of 14 students, supporting their emotional and academic development Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor IEP goals and progress Prepare timely and thorough documentation, reports, and recommendations Participate actively in IEP meetings and student support teams Assist with other related school psychologist duties as needed throughout the assignment Experience a role where your expertise directly shapes outcomes for students during a pivotal time.
