Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in school psychology to a dynamic educational environment, where your skills and compassionate approach will make a meaningful difference in students' lives. This part-time contract opportunity provides the chance to support students' academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being while collaborating with dedicated professionals. In this engaging role, you'll work approximately 20 hours per week, assisting school personnel and families to ensure that every student has the resources and interventions necessary for educational success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Licensed or credentialed as a School Psychologist in California Proven experience in a school setting, with strong knowledge of special education processes Proficiency in assessments, report writing, and developing intervention plans Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to employ culturally sensitive and effective practices Organized, flexible, and able to work independently within school guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual student evaluations and psychoeducational assessments Interpret assessment results to develop appropriate interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and well-being Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts Maintain documentation in compliance with relevant laws and policies
