Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing essential psychological services in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work collaboratively with educators, families, and fellow professionals to foster positive learning experiences for students.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or license in California Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Knowledge of best practices in psycho-educational assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies Experience developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to evaluate student needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans Deliver direct counseling services to students individually and in groups Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for interventions Support positive behavior strategies and crisis intervention steps as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Assist in developing preventative and restorative programs to enhance student well-being
