Based near Thermal, CA, you'll collaborate with educators and families to foster positive academic and behavioral outcomes. To excel in this role, you should bring: Active and valid California School Psychologist license Strong background in educational testing, assessments, and behavioral interventions Experience supporting diverse student populations Excellent communication and consultation skills Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Local candidates encouraged; consideration given to professionals intending to relocate permanently to the area As part of your day-to-day, you will: Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for individualized education planning Design interventions and strategies to promote student growth and engagement Counsel students individually and in groups to address academic, social, and emotional concerns Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to implement appropriate supports Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and crisis response as needed Offer professional guidance on learning disabilities, mental health, and crisis prevention Document services and maintain accurate, timely records complying with policies and standards Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school psychology If you're ready for a meaningful position where your expertise directly shapes the educational journey for students, this opportunity awaits your unique skills.
