Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students across a variety of schools in the Yreka, CA area! A full-time, onsite contract opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, offering the chance to work directly with students, educators, and families to enhance academic and social-emotional success. Your expertise as a School Psychologist will be essential in fostering positive learning environments, conducting assessments, and collaborating with educational teams to address student needs.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Valid School Psychologist credential (or eligibility for California credential) Experience working with K-12th grade students Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting data Excellent communication and consultation abilities for collaboration with staff and families Ability to implement effective intervention and support strategies Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students Develop individualized educational recommendations and strategies Serve as a resource and consultant for staff, parents, and community partners Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create and monitor student support plans Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on eligibility and service recommendations Promote positive mental health and resilience among diverse student populations
