Work onsite with a supportive educational community, providing essential mental health and assessment services during periods of leave coverage. Assignments vary between schools (elementary, middle, and K-8) and caseloads based on available coverage, including options to work across different grade levels and school environments. What you'll bring: Master's, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology Valid CDE Special Service Provider License with endorsement in School Psychology Proven experience as a school psychologist in educational settings Up-to-date knowledge and practice of student assessments and interventions Strong capability with both cognitive and behavioral assessments, IEP goal setting, and educational impact reporting Skilled communicator, able to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and external partners Calm, solution-oriented approach to crisis and risk situations Expertise with technology relevant to student management and documentation Experience supporting students from diverse backgrounds Your responsibilities: Deliver direct group and individual counseling to special education students according to IEPs Design, implement, and monitor academic, behavioral, emotional, and mental health interventions Conduct comprehensive evaluations, write detailed reports, and support IEP process Assess and respond swiftly to crisis situations, including risk assessments and safety planning Collaborate with internal teams, families, and outside agencies to foster student adjustment and success Participate in key meetings (IEP, MTSS, behavioral health teams, staff development) Provide psychoeducation, consultation, and professional development for staff and families Coordinate with community resources to support students' holistic needs This is a chance to make a tangible difference in students' academic journeys—while experiencing the energy and support of dynamic school teams.
