School Psych | Colorado Springs, Colorado Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Colorado Springs, CO Job Details Contract $25 - $67 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school setting in Colorado Springs, CO. This contract position offers the chance to support student learning and development through comprehensive assessments and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate interventions. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to create individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and support to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations related to special education.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of current assessment tools and intervention strategies.
