Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist near Denver, CO, serving a supportive and close-knit special education team in a smaller district atmosphere. This full-time, full-school-year position runs throughout the 2026-2027 academic year, providing an excellent environment for professionals passionate about making a tangible difference in students' lives.
What We're Looking For:
Valid or pending Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience working in schools or with school-aged populations highly preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, particularly within special education teams Flexibility and adaptability; ready to contribute while caseload details are finalized
What You'll Be Doing:
Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to help determine students' needs Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and maintain supportive learning plans Providing counseling and intervention for students, as well as crisis management as needed Attending and contributing to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success within a tight-knit SPED community
