Job Description

Make an impact supporting students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Englewood, CO! This contract-based opportunity offers the chance to provide essential mental health and educational support in a collaborative environment, working with a district known for its commitment to student well-being. You'll play a key role in assessing, counseling, and helping shape positive school climates.

Key Qualifications:

Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist licensure required Previous school-based psychologist experience is strongly preferred Bilingual Spanish proficiency highly valued Comfortable working in itinerant roles, covering multiple schools as needed Expertise with psychological assessments, behavioral interventions, and special education processes Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for services Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver direct counseling services, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students Maintain comprehensive student files and documentation in line with state and district requirements Participate in problem-solving teams and support school-wide mental health initiatives Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students
