Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist seeking a part-time contract role in the Englewood, CO area! Make a significant impact by supporting two welcoming elementary schools—one located in Parker and the other in Franktown. This position is ideal for a School Psychologist with a passion for assessment and collaboration, offering consistent hours while working with a supportive educational community.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification/license required Prior experience in a school-based setting or with elementary age students strongly preferred Competence in conducting special education assessments and writing comprehensive reports Skilled in collaborating with general and special education teams, families, and service providers Ability to effectively manage time, multitask, and travel between two nearby locations Strong communication skills and a student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete special education assessments for students at Parker Elementary and Franktown Elementary Collect and interpret student psychological and educational data Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, sharing assessment findings and recommendations Consult with teachers and support staff to inform intervention strategies Help ensure compliance with IEP and district requirements Contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive school climate for all students
