Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a school-based role designed for dedicated School Psychologists ready to support elementary students within a collaborative environment. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, focusing on special education caseload management for about 40 students with IEPs at each assigned school. You'll be an essential part of the team, working behind the scenes to ensure that every child's needs are met.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist Prior experience working with elementary-age students is highly valued Strong understanding of special education processes and IEP documentation Ability to work efficiently with minimal direct student services, emphasizing assessment, consultation, and compliance Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with teachers, staff, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage special education caseloads for elementary-aged students, focusing on compliance and accurate paperwork Consult with educators and staff to ensure students' educational and emotional needs are addressed appropriately Participate in IEP meetings as required, providing expert input and recommendations Conduct assessments and interpret data to inform educational planning—mainly indirect service Serve as a resource for understanding and implementing best practices in student support services This contract begins July 27, 2026, and continues through May 21, 2027, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours.
