Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a role where your expertise can make a significant difference in the lives of students. In this contract opportunity, you'll serve as a School Psychologist with a focus on supporting a diverse student population near Danbury, CT during the 2026-2027 academic year. Your skills in assessment, counseling, and collaborative problem-solving will be instrumental across all grade levels in an onsite setting. Fluency in Spanish is essential, enabling you to effectively bridge communication and foster an inclusive educational environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Connecticut Educator Certificate as a School Psychologist Professional experience in school-based psychological services Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to provide bilingual assessments and support Flexibility and comfort working with varied grade levels and diverse caseloads Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations Deliver culturally responsive counseling and interventions to students Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized support strategies Create and maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies Help design and implement programs promoting emotional, behavioral, and social wellbeing Engage in proactive crisis intervention and prevention initiatives as needed Attend IEP, team, and professional development meetings as required Enjoy the benefit of working a consistent 30-32.5 hour workweek within a supportive academic community committed to student success.
