Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity designed for dedicated professionals with School Psychologist certification in Connecticut. This role offers both flexibility and meaningful impact, supporting students across multiple educational sites in the Danbury area. Starting immediately and extending through June 7, 2027, youll contribute your expertise one day per week, making a difference for students and school communities alike.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Connecticut School Psychologist credential required Previous experience in school settings or with K-12 student populations preferred Strong assessment, testing, and evaluation skills Ability to provide both consultative and direct psychological services Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work seamlessly with educators, staff, and families Self-starter comfortable working across multiple campuses
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and testing as needed, collaborating closely with special education teams Deliver psychological services to students, including counseling and intervention Assist in developing individualized educational plans (IEPs) and participate in eligibility and team meetings Support schools in understanding and addressing students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs Offer guidance and strategies to teachers and families to support student success
