Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year at a preschool setting in Enfield, CT. This contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The focus is on providing psychological services to young children, supporting their development and well-being in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for preschool-aged children Develop and implement intervention plans based on assessment results Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student needs Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly Provide crisis intervention and consultation services as needed Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and school policies
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Connecticut School Psychologist (CT PSYCH) license required Experience working in preschool or early childhood educational settings preferred Strong knowledge of childhood development and psychological assessment tools Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and school staff Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
