Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school setting in Fairfield, CT. This contract position is designed for professionals skilled in supporting student learning and mental health through assessment, intervention, and consultation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret test results to identify student needs. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student well-being and academic success. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working in a school environment, ideally with diverse student populations. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and best practices related to school psychology.
